I am using the Costco shakes, I mix half a shake with 1 cup skim milk, 22 grams protien, I have 2 or 3 of these a day, depending on what I eat. I'm looking for more food ideas also.
I'm eating lots of cottage cheese and regular cheese now, I think I will try more kinds of puree soups next, and then eggs.
Sorry no choc shake recipes.

I am in a soup rut.....  I tried mashed potatoes and egg salad today, great for a change!  Any ideas for something different would be appreciated.
Happy to hear both of you ladies are doing well.

greek yogurt is an excellent source of protiein.  I couldnt stand the taste of the shakes either.  I mixed a teaspoon of decaf coffee powder with ateaspoon of ho****er, then put it in my magic bullet blender with ice and a cup of milk. I also added one scoop of protein powder.   It turned into an icecap sort of taste. If you look back in the posts, Michelle posted a lot of recipes for shakes. Costco is great for the redy made shakes and protein bars. Walmart is good for the protein powder.  The Body fortress is the only sugar free one.

Hi Sondra,

I ate cream-of-wheat (made with milk) at this stage. Mashed potatoes were my favorite. I found that I could sometimes tolerate a small piece of cheese. I also loved Costco's canned chicken. I would make it up with a little bit of mayo & pepper, but maybe it is too soon for you to tolerate that. I also lived on soups and yogurt. I also "snacked" on saltine crackers. I would just let them disolve in my mouth before swallowing them. They settled my stomach. I also ate Rice Krispies in a little milk (rice flour is very easy to digest), you just have to chew them well before swallowing.

Hope this helps.
