Hi Sondra,  If there is no fresh blood on your steristrips, you can carefully remove them now as they have been on for 10 days. As for what to eat, i couldnt tell ya, i am only 2 days post op. I feel pretty good though, and i feel like i could eat a bit of food but i definitely will not. You should be prety good with yoghurt, cottage cheese, and things like that. A friend of mine who had the sleeve done last yr said in week 2 she loved to heat up some cottage cheese with marinara sauce, and parmesan and it was just like lasagna. (she could only eat 1/2 cup of course) might be worth a shot.
Take care
Hayley

I made that today Hayley, the cottage cheese with a little tomato sc sprinkled with parm, yummy.
I only had a little to make sure it was ok with my new tummy.

Thanks for the tip,

i actually had a bit yest, just to test out my shiny new sleeve and it was fine. I havent had any issues with anything yet. I am getting in agout 65g protein, and lots and lots of h2o. mostly having creamy tomato soup, consomme, strawberry applesauce, etc. taking all meds whole, no issue. still no BM but not worried yet, im still not eating much, and the anaesthetic can really do a number on poos. How are you doing now Shann? Everything going smoothly?

I am doing a little better each day, my neighbor saw me this morning and said, hey your moving faster, lol.
I have no problem getting my protein in, up to 75. Having BM everyday, still dizzy if I get up to fast, and my lungs are soar, hurts to take deep breaths, I've been reading up on how to help that, they didn't tell me much after care for that. ( did I tell you part of my Lungs collapsed?)
I will try one new food a day. It's really helps if I measure my food to 1/4 cup and stop at that.
I can't get in to see Laura till August, so I'm trying to figure out what my new eating habit will be like.
Sounds like your doing great, keep it up, except your weight keep it down

I'm down 25 pounds

Well I'm finding everything is to sweet.
I got 60gms of protien in today so I'm happy with that.
I had cup of soup, scooped the noodles out, yogurt, Popsicle, drank 2 glasses of plain skim milk.

I really want egg salad really, and cheese but I think I should wait.
I might try sucking on a soda cracker later for the highlight of my evening. Lol

I'm feeling a little better ever day but it's going to take me a little longer to recoup.

I'm having trouble sleeping and don't know if we are aloud adavan ( idont know how to spell

Yes you are allowed to take Ativan. Sleep is so important when you are trying to heal.  Get lots of rest Missus!!!
Take care and have a restful night!
