Any other October referrals?

Just curious :)

I was referred Oct 25th and am hoping to hear soon.

I hope you hear soon! I'm a Nov referral and I REALLY want to get this over with this summer. I hope there aren't too many Oct referrals!

It's funny but the closer it seems to get to the point when we migth reasonably expect a call it all of a sudden starts to feel like time slows down.  Some days I have myself convinced they've lost my number and I'm never going to hear from them :D

Waiting has never been my strong suit.  Fingers crossed we wont have to wait much longer! 

I was referred last June and got a call for an appointment to discuss the surgeries in April.  My surgery was to be scheduled June 20 but got pushed back to July 18 because I need to have a sleep disorder study done first.  I am very fortunate to have gotten in so quickly.  I am nervous but excited.  Trying to practice all of the changes now when I eat.  Very inspired by reading everyone's posts and advice.  Thank you for sharing!

Good luck with your surgery :)  Can I ask - is the sleep study required for everyone?

I didn't have one, right now not everyone is required, I know a few have had it.

Thanks - I believe the reason I was referred was because I had a surgery a couple of years ago where the doctor told me afterward that he felt I had sleep apnea.  I had never been tested.
