I remember that very well.  Just keep on sipping, eventually your sips will get bigger and bigger.  I can actually gulp now.  When I am at exercise class, I drink alot of volume and fast.  No problems.  It gets better.

As much as I hated to admit it, I liked warm-hot fluids better for the frist couple months. Water tasted weird to me, so tea and broths were a life saver after all the sweet shakes. Now I can chug water! Almost as fast as I used to. It will get better, ice and popsicles worked well too, when my kids weren't swiping them.

I had the same problem.  I watered down cryst#l light a lot so it just gave the water a little flavour.  I bought myself one of those fancy take out cups with a straw in it, and i fill that with ice and the watered down cryst#l light .  I cary it with me everywhere.  Those cups are on sale this week 2 for 5 dollars at super store.  They are great because it feels like you havea fancy take out drink.
