psych evalutation today

Well, my psych evaluation was scheduled for June 22. ( I just made the appt on Friday). Got a call this am stating there was a cancellation and could i come today at 4:30? Can i get a HELL YA????? Then, get this........ late this afternoon Julie called me and said that Laura had a cancellation and could i come tomorrow at 2pm. OMG I cant believe how quick things are finally moving . Anyway, i just have to wait for my es&d, and my physical with my gp, and i am ready. My physical is scheduled for May 16. i dont have a date yet for the es&d.  Psych eval. went very well. Turns out i am not crazy after all. Sometimes i wonder........... Well, for all you ladies who are getting discouraged with all the waiting, trust me they are really moving things along over there. I know the waiting feels like FOREVER but things are moving along very nicely. The time will go quick, and before you know it, you will be getting " THE CALL"

way to go.i feel the same way that boom all of a sudden everything moves quickly after waiting for what seems like forever.

So glad you are not crazy (personally I am hoping they are easily fooled).  and WOW on your progress!  so fantanstic!  all the little hurtles are being covered pretty quick.  It feels like one of these dances where someone dances down the center of two lines and then everyone moves up and the next person dances down!  and at then end of our dance is the loser's bench!

WOW That was FAST!! That is GREAT!!  Good to know re: the physical, didn't know that was needed. i will make that apt now so it will be done.

Right on Haley. Once your name comes up on the waiting lift it does go really fast. It is like the lotto!

It is amazing. It seems forever for you to get the call for your first appointmetn with a surgeon. Once that is done, it seems like they can't get you through fast enough. Congratualtions!

For the person who is planning on scheduling a physical: Your physician will have to fill out the specific pre-surgical physical form issued by the Bariatric Clinic. The pre-op physical has to be within a certain number of weeks of the surgery or else you will have to go for another one.

I got a similar call back on Feb 28th.  My original surgery was booked for Sept 2012.  They had a cancallation for March 28th.  I was so excited like I had won the lottery!  Congrats.

Cause I just got a phone call & got my appointment for tomorrow!! :)

We seriously should try to get our surgery on the same day so we can be roommates in the hospital!! haha...
