Happy Mother's day 
 To all to the ones that can eat please eat for me,
For the ones that are past this point (had sugrery) please eat little for me
For the ones at my stage i salute you with a cup of broth
Next year will be better i will be skinny and be able to eat a little
I missed my birthday,annivsary,mothers day,May2,May6,May8 in my head right now was it worth just to eat for those 3 days  NO I choose this journey nobody else did and just have to get over this hump i have to stop watching cooking shows they are driving me crazy. And all alone on mothers day husband gone to work kids both at sleepovers.

COOKING SHOWS ARE EVIL!...So is MAN VS. FOOD!..disgusting actually! Stop torturing yourself. Take up crochet, or knitting or scrapbooking or ganrdening..ANYTHING ELSE...LOL Oh wait..I am talking to myself!

you are so funny i have always loved cooking shows certain ones actully i do loooveee gardening but cant bend down much yet so yesterday when my kids finally did come home i made them dig up some of the carden and plant the carrots but still not the same i would"ve loved to get in the dirt i have a garden at home and at our cottage and looooveee flowers if my dogs dont kill them.  thanks i guess i was a bit depressed being all alone feeling better thankyou

Ok, I must be an odd one. I never watched cooking shows before my surgery, now I watch them all the time. I think because I cannot eat as much as I would like to, I watch so I can eat vicariously through other people!

My favourite show is Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives! I don't know why. I will never be able to eat all that greasy food. I can't seem to help myself. I love watching people make and eat good food on tv now! LOL!

D-D-D is my all time favorite we vhave gone to some in minnipolas and ate at some of them, buut like you say wont be able to do much of that still love the show and the host,yesterday i made 2 lasagnas one mexican and1  regular they looked awesome i just want please people and make people happy while they ate i had a proetin shake. have agreat day

I shouldn't even say, but while I lament being so far down on the waiting list, I totally HAD to eat my way through Mom day.  Two of my daughters(the ones who live locally) got together and made a BEAUTIFUL supper, so of course I had to eat it!  would be rude not too.  i did tell myself  that hopefully next year at this time, I'd be having my steak in a blender - lol.  I really did let myself enjoy it  but would give it up in a heartbeat (or a phone call, are you listening Julie? lol)

All those shows  are poisioning your mind!  someone should start a protein shake cooking show!  They'd be rich - maybe even your own network.............

I had a very nice mother's day, but I too ate my way through it with a wonderful bbq.  I've been eating my way through most holidays the past 6 months, ever since my referal was sent in to the surgeons.  I use the lame excuse that it could be my last opportunity to do so.  But not knowing where I am on the waiting list of 700 I could be eating my way through holidays for the next 3 years!  Ugh!
