Stay away from the chocolate Meditrim bars - they are gross! Most people prefer the shakes. The pre-op diet is tedious but you will experience great weight loss on it which makes it worthwhile.

I didn't get any bars just shakes, I read most people didn't like the bars.
That xray this morning gave me lots of gas pains, gets me ready for after the surgery lol.

I am nervous about how I will feel on the pre op shakes, I know I can do it, I'm just hoping its not to rough. But your right Tanya the weight loss will feel good.

What is this x-ray everyone needs anyway?  what are they checking for and what do they do to you?

It is a x ray of your stomach and throat, so you have to drink some stuff that causes gas and the some thick white stuff while the xray you.
Julie told me now everyone needs to have this done before surgery, because some patient are getting acid reflux after the surgery

I saw your post saying that everyone needs to go for es and d so got my own doc to order it for me so it was done and i wouldn't have to worry about waiting for xray apt. Thanks for sharing your experiences - helps others!
my apt for consult is june 10.

I went back to work after the X-ray, I picked up some tea and a muffin to have after it. but I did have a few people ask me if I was ok,
