where are they on the wait list?

 anyone know if they are into Aug referrals yet? maybe possibly Sept ? It doesnt look like we have any Aug referrals on our forum so we are losing touch with the wait list progress a bit. Anyway, any info is greatly appreciated

Hi Hayley,  I have no infor for you but I was wondering when you were referred.  I read through old posts last night for about 5 hours (went back 20 pages) and it is interesting to see that some of those people who were still waiting for their appt. have now had surgery  and a few are well on their way to being skinny mini -ish!  It seems the list is going faster now than it used to although someone said that there are 400 or so on the list?  yikes.  I hope you get your appointment soon.  I feel like singing "bottles of beer on the wall" lol

 HI notorious, i was referred Sept 15, 2010. I got my letter of acceptance on Oct 20, 2010. last i checked with Julie (which was around the beginning of april) she said they were doing end of July, beginning of August referrals. so i am very anxious for them to start Sept referrals. have you been referred yet?

yes, just yesterday so my wait is looooonnnngggg. But I feel so good just being firm and taking this first step.  Going for the referral for me was huge as I live in a small town (everyone knows everything about everybody so I am sure I will get EVERYONE's opinion - can't wait for my Mother-in-law's lol!)  Anyways.....  I had gone a couple of years ago to my old Dr. for enquire abourt a referral and was patted on the head, told diet and exercise was the magic solution and sent on my way.  I was so embarrassed that I totally gave up on the idea.  However it has resurfaced with a vengance a few weeks ago (a friend of ours bought himself a lapband) and is doing great.  My research has brought me to the VSG and I think that it is the way for me and my lifestyle.  Now that the decision is made (depending on the consultation of course) I am impatient! lol and it has only been one day.  sigh.  You people are going to be sick of me!....

So good that you are close though!  I can live vicariously through everyone ;)

We are all at different stages of our journey and that is what makes this forum so unique, and helpful ,and supportive, and interesting, and informative, and accepting and so on and so on. I have been living vicariously through everyone for about 8 months now so dont feel bad
