What is the maximum BMI they will do in MB?

Does anyone know how big is too big?  of what do they base the criteria on?  Also how much time does a person need off of work for a VSG?

Now your BMI can not be over 47, I haven't had the surgery yet I'm hoping I only need to take 2weeks off. Some have taken 2 some 3 4 or more, I think it will depend on the type of work you do, or if you have complications.

At the moment, they are only accepting women under the age of 55 and with BMIs under 47. They want to do a series of surgeries on people with low risk factors before they expand their criteria.

In time, they plan to expand their criteria to include men and women with great risk factors.
