Good morning,

Does anyone know where I could find BeneProtein? Do I ask the pharmacist for this? Is this stuff mixable with soups (like tomato soup) or is this more like shake stuff that only comes in flavors like vanilla, etc?

Hello!
         It's made by Nestle's and you can purchase it on line. 227g $25.55. It mixes easily with most foods, so I would imagine it takes on the flavor of what it's mixed with.....~Cheryl

You can get it at the Tache pharmacy in the same building where we meet with the surgeons and Laura. I used it in my soups in the beginning and it was a life saver! :) make sure the soups aren't too hot or it clumps a bit. It is unflavored and easily mixed into warm foods..even in mushies!

It is kept behind the counter so you do have to ask the pharmacist for it.  Some have to order it in.  You can use powdered milk if you dont like the beneprotein.

Thanks all! I found it @ Tache and I got it for under $25 and so far it mixed nice and didn't add any strange flavor to my soup

Hi Lisa;

I just went to my regular pharmacy and asked them to order me in a cannister. It doesn't have its own flavour, and is meant to be mixed with other foods. I found that I didn't like it in very hot things because it does clump up like cottage cheese. However, I found that it was perfect in mashed potatoes! My favorite way of using it was in yogurt. There, I didn't notice it at all, it just thickened the yogurt a bit.

I hope you are doing well!

Hi Tanya,

Thanks, I am doing great, better each day it seems! I've been getting more of my energy back every day and I am getting the minimum protein in so far (via 2 shakes), I just have to work on the minimum water, but that was always a problem pre-surgery.
