I'm back in the saddle again!What a day so far! Ive cleaned my house! Chatted on the telly and PC and am still ready to go! YeeEEHaWwww!! I feel more like myself today and not so tired. I've done almost a weeks worth of resting so that must be why! I'm getting my protein in it's slow but it's going in. I need to get up to 2 shakes before bed time that's my goal for this week is 2 shakes per day. Or am I pushing it? I'm not stuffed anyway, so I'm doing something right. Damned Steri strips are making me itchy! Those are coming off tomorrow. Hard to believe tomorrow is 1 week out already. ~Cheryl

Hi Cheryl;

You made it! Once you are passed the first week post-op, you are well on your way to your new slim life! Just be careful not to push ahead too quickly when it comes to your diet. If you are getting in 2 shakes a day now, that is wonderful. As long as you are tolerating it well, go for it!

I found that after the first week, I could tolerate yogurt and creamed soups.

Rest whenever you need to, as you are still recovering on the inside.

Yes Tanya I did! I made it through week 1. There were days I wasn't sure. It's not knowing when your full, what's pain and what's hunger. I'm still learning, but keeping a journal has helped me see a little more of a pattern. So things are becoming clearer now. Well I boiled up some turnip to mash for tonight so I'll see how that goes. Hope I'm not rushing it. ~Cheryl

Cheryl, glad to hear you are doing so well! Don't over do it!

Lisa, nice to hear you got out for awhile. The mall sounds like a great idea.
