Bougie Size

What size did you get?

I read on one site that 40 was too big! The size that experienced surgeons use it a 32. Cause it causes more restriction and better weight loss.

I have a 40, but wi**** was smaller some days!!  I feel like my weight loss has slowed down too much.  I loved it when I was loosing 10+/month!

I wonder if that is the standard size our surgeons use.  I will ask him when I go to my next follow up.

I got a 36. A 40 probably didn't fit down my throat. I also got oversewn..I don't think 40 is too big. I do know that 32's have much more problems, with healing and getting in enough food afterward. NO THANKS! It was hard enough..lol The sizes are SO close, I can't see it being such a big deal. It is only a guide. Some surgeons pull the stomach tighter over a 40 than another would pull on a 36.  The doctors want us all to succeed so they can continue this program.

I am assuming that you are talking about your pouch size.
How are you calculating it?
