We all go for surgery knowing that we are going to lose weight but still I live with the fear that I will be the one that WLS will fail. The scale isn't suppose to matter and it is suppose to be about the change of quality of life. I am very happy that my diabetes is in remission but what I really like is when that scale needle goes down! The satisfaction that I get from it is better than chocolate!!!

Nicely done!  I think we all fear failure as we are used to the ups and downs.  I wonder when I am going to truly believe that I am not going to be heavier and simply rebound like I did prior to surgery.
