day 1 pre-op shakes.....

                    Hope it stays that way! Today is day one of my Meditrim. I'm mentally preparing myself for the first one. Have a great Monday everyone!

I had to laugh at your description of yourself after the sleep study. I remember my husband looking that way after his and he went for a 2 night study. My son frequently looks like that too after an EEG. Usually I get his haircut before we go as it is very thick but one time I forgot and he looked like he'd been on a 2 day binge.

Bummer about the window, that is a long drive to be cold. Have you always lived in Brandon? That is where I grew up.

Well I was a fright really! All they offer you is a hand towel a face clothe and a sink. What? Where's the shower? I have white chucks of crap in my hair (my hair is brown) They offer me a hand towel and sink. It's like ripping a guys head off and offering him a band aide! Imagine it all wind blown after my long drive home.....hahahaha! is all my husband could do! Yes, he's still alive!  I've lived in Brandon and area my entire life. ~Cheryl

OM GOSH!
             Meditrim Chocolate tastes great! It's a little chocky, not sweet, it's just right for me. So a thumbs up from me. It's way better than the frigging Protein powder I was drinking last week. Maybe that's why this tastes so good, cause I've drank $h--! already.....hahaha! Hope the vanilla is good too. So the next couple weeks are going to go good.....I think....going to get my fresh veggie supply today. So far so good!~Cheryl

Keep up the good work. Its tough. I think I sometimes ate more than the 2 cups of veggies but I figured they are vegies right. About the 4 day I felt a little funny.....but that passes too.

Good thing you like the chocolate shakes...ugh I seriously not liking mine, I prefer the vanilla, but I like the protein shakes I was getting from Costco better. Day 2 of the shakes....this is seriously tough!

Is sugar free jello allowed? Its not technically food and VERY low cal? Or am I just rationalizing? lol

No we aren't aloud anything but the Meditrim and 2 cups of veggies. Drink lots of water I'm finding that's helping keep me full. Your surgery is the 21st right? Good luck as we move into day three. ~Cheryl
