Last week I reached my first major goal...I broke 200lbs! !  I started my journey close to 270 and am now at 198.    The beauty of this surgery is...I really believe I now have the tool to keep from going over 200 ever again.! What a great feeling! This is the place I have always come for support and sharing.  Where else would anyone understand my excitement about breaking 200???

PS.  Any plans for March M & G?  I am determined to finally make this one!

Congratulations!

Thanks so much for sharing your success. Whenever someone shares a major milestone like that it gives me hope that one day my turn will come. Like Michelle said, I am jealous, but in the best possible way!
I wish you a speedy and easy journey to your personal goal!

Well done!

Thanks for all the support! I can't wait for the next part of the journey.  This will require more exercise and eating healthy as the weight loss slows.   I am so happy with the results so far that I have loads of patience and perseverence to get it ALL off for the first time ever!

I just wanted to tell everyone who has not yet had their surgery, I did NOT lose much on the pre op.  Maybe 3 - 4 lbs. The average seemed to be about 15 - 20 lbs for many, but not me.  Please don't  get discouraged at any point.  I did not cheat but I did not drink enough water.  Having said that, my weight loss has all come post surgery AND I am in my late 40's so I don't lose as fast as some of you younger metabolisms!

That goes to show you this surgery will be a success for ANYONE at any stage of their life who is committed to it!
