Was at the ER most of the day

So just got back from the ER.  The pains have gotten worse, feels like something is stuck in my esophagus (though I haven't eaten today).  I felt fevered and then I started thinking leak.  And it freaked me out.  I woke up this am at 5 with ++ bile in my mouth.  So I have all the blood work, whick I am so relieved to say it was all normal.  I am not taking anymore Vits, it makes me so yucky.  I am going to wait for  a couple of weeks to give it another go.  I am going to take my PPI twice a day and take Buscopan more regularly.  See if that helps. 

ACK!! That sounds terrible!! Did they do an scan or a check of your new tummy? As for the bile, have you tried sleeping with your head elevated? Kinda like when you have a stuffy nose. Iknow for me the first  month or so, I got heartburn really bad, but only at night and it was worse when I was laying on my right side. Left side still  feels much better to me(could be from the pregnancies+habit lol)

I do sleep with my head elevated and it helps.  My friggin back is killing me though.  I have heating pad on my back 24/7.  I hope this passes soon.....

Does not sound good, sorry your having a hard time. Don't wait to long, you might have to come back to Winnipeg.

I waited about 2 or 3 weeks post-op to start vitamins(til i could swallow them whole).  There was no way I was crushing them or chewing them.

I still have acid/puke problems!  I have to take Nexium everyday.  I even know if I am late taking it.  If I bend over, I get puke in my mouth(sorry gross).

Is there swelling in your esphagus caused from acid?  What is Buscopan?

They have no scans at our wee hospital.  I had blood work and if I had a leak it would show in my WBC.  Buscopan in an antispasmotic for like gas, gallbladder pains, bladder spasms, etc. 
I feel so sick today.  I am relieved that the blood work didn't reveal anything.  But I hurt bad.  I am not sure what to do.  Maybe I just wait it out and see what happens. 

 sorry to hear about your rough day yesterday, sounds pretty crappy. now that you have held the vitamins, i would wait a couple of days and if no improvement then i think a trip to the city (vgh) is in order. i am sure in no time, this will all be in the past and you will be well on your way. Take good care of yourself, and get lots of rest.

Oh no that is horrible! I am so sorry that this is how your starting off....soon this will be all in the past.

I have to agree 100% with Hayley, wait a couple of days and then go to VGH, that is the place you should be, being also from a small town they don't have the knowledge and the equipment to help you!

Take care and don't wait if you continue to feel this way. If anything at least you will have peace of mind which is an amazing tool in healing!
