I am so kicking myself in the arse.  I am going to own up to my big mistake.  I ate a 100 cal bag of sun chips yesterday because I needed "crunchy".  I ate them very slow and really chewed them up.  I am so sick of this diet but I realizee I may have jeopardized my health.  I am messed up!!!!!!!!  Today I am totally obsessing with every ache and pain.
  WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF?  Ah....................................

Don't be too hard on yourself Sherry, I think we have to remember that although we have had or are waiting to have surgery, it doesn't garuntee that our bad eating habits disappear right away.
Just take your time and give yourself to heal emotionally and physically, your body and mind are going through alot of changes.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks guys, but I could have and may have done myself real harm.  I have had heavy chest and pain in my left collar bone area all day!
This learning to eat all over is very difficult.  Tomorrow I have my food journel and its back to broth and water for me.  I feel absolutely rotten.

Don't be too hard on yourself....changing habits takes time. As for the pains it could be just because you are worrying. It will get easier.

Hi Sherry;

It is unrealistic to assume that you will never touch any of your favourite foods again. If you really chewed the chips well, it is unlikely that you did any permanent damage. You may just have a belly ache from it. Just go back to taking care of yourself today. The days will pass quickly, and you will be able to eat almost everything you used to enjoy again. Don't give up hope! You won't be on mushy food forever.
