Holy, am I ever suffering from gas pains.  I was totally painfree up till 2 days ago.  Has anyone ever experienced this?

Could it be the 100cal snack?   That might be the cause.  Too much flavor and texture for that new tummy.

Take it easy for the next few days and see if it goes away.

Hi Sherry;

Michelle is right, it was probably the chips. I got gas whenever I introduced something a little too harsh to my system. It will pass.

Boy do I feel for you...I had horrible gas pains!!!

I never knew what would set it off either. Plus nothing helped except laying down when they started on a heating pad on my left side and relaxing. I found this was the only way to help get rid of the gas. Another thing you have to really make sure you do is..fart...because it will build up and then your in trouble. I had the pains starting in the hosptal and then slowly went away, after about 1 1/2-2 months they were pretty much gone. I also walked alot up and down my hall and then would lay down on the heating pad.

The good news is it does go away...oh ya and stay away from cauliflower!!!!!

Take care and make sure you take time to rest, and try the heating pad, I would carry it with me any where I went. Plus it helps with the skinny ***** shivers! LOL!

 I had gas pains off and on for 1 1/2 months or so. What I ate or didn't eat made no difference. Remember they pump air into your abdomen when they do the surgery and this takes a while to go away. I found walking around the house helped. I would pace in the middle of the night sometimes.
good luck and hang in their, remember you still have lots of internal healing to do
take care,
