Well Monday is the day I am supposed to start. Can anyone tell me do you get more than 14 days because my surgery is on the 8th of March and that means if only 14 days worth I will not have anything for 2 days. Is that correct? Very nervouse. Mind over matter. I have a few functions to go to in my 2 week period but I will eat only the veggies. It will be hard but I have too. Wish me luck.....I will need it.

So good to see how well you are doing Sherry....keep posting it is giving me courage.

What day is your surgery on? I would start the pre-op exactly two weeks prior or else you will not have enough meditrim.  Some tips that helped me through.  I used the vanilla because I heard the chocolate was nasty.  I used a blender and mixed up three packets at a time (one day worth).  I put the frothy vanilla shake in my am coffee, it was kinda like a latte.  Not too bad.  I used chopsticks to eat my two cups of veggies.  My theory was that it would take longer to eat therefore filling me up faster.  I sauteed onion, garlic, mushroom, peppers, broccoli and cauliflour in balsamic vinegar.  Yummy.  I preferred hot cooked veggies to non cooked.  Lots of water, G2 when I felt extremely weak.
Good luck to you Sue!  All the best.
You can do it!!!!

Hello,
If your surgery is on the 8th, you shouldn't be startng your pre-op diet until the 22nd.

When I was on the pre-op diet I was hungry for the first 4 days and then the hunger left me. After surgery I am not hungry at all.

Good luck with everything!

Hi Sue,

Today should be your first day on MediTrim. Good luck!

The pre-op diet isn't fun, but it doesn't last forever, and you will get through it.
Have some Tylenol on hand in the event that you get headaches.
Everybody's is right the first few days are the hardest, after that, you get used to it.

Your surgery is just around the corner. How exciting!

Well I have tried the peanut crunch bar.....not bad. I have certainly tasted a lot worse. I still haven't tried the shake. It doesn't look like it will be very thick. I picked up the vanilla. I think I will blend with some ice and make a slushy out of it. I have a magic bullet and it is the greatest little gadget. Doing ok so far. I did take some Tylenol with me in case a headache started but none so far. I had about a cup of celery earlier and will have more veggies a little later. rinking lots of water. Every where I go I need to find a bathroom.....that kinds sucks. Very busy day and night so I shouldn't miss not eating too much. Making the kids something I don't like so I won't be tempted....Lol.  So far all good.
