Finally a Cheese Burger!

I finally got to enjoy a cheese burger again, not bad for almost 4 months post-op.  I found these "Mini-slider Burgers at Superstore and the matching slim buns!  They are located in the frozen burger section and you get 18 of them in a box.  They are really good too! 

I ate one with cheese/ketchup/mustard for supper tonight + 1 cup of Greek Salad.

The burger on the left was mine, and the one on the right is what I would have ate prior to surgery!  Note the size of the fork for reference purposes.

I can't wait to have a hamburger patty with cheese. OH and a pickle. I so wish I could have a pickle.

Thanks for the product tip. It would be so convenient to have those in the freezer.

Isn't it amazing the portions we used to be able to eat? Last night, I had a small slice of thin-crust pizza. I was so hungry, that I was sure I could eat a second, no dice. One piece, and I was stuffed.

It feels so good to be eating normal food again, even if it is just in small portions!

Lucky you!..bread still sits like a big unmoving rock in my tummy. I am however looking forward to eating the burger part..LOL
