My Granny is Dying please see added note

The love of my life, who is 94, is on her way out.  I went to see her yesterday afternoon to say my goodbyes and that I'll love her and remember her always.  She opened her one eye and went ummhmm and closed it again.

She has not taken any food or water by mouth for 5 days, the personal care home, is calling in Palliative care to come sit with her and keep her comfy.

She has not been herself for the last two years.

From as far back as I can remember, I always spent my summers at her place, up until I was about 14.  She taught me to live, she taught me to cook, she taught me to eat  lol

She will be joining my grandpa who passed in 1989.

I love her dearly and this is breaking my heart.  Please say a prayer for her to not suffer and go with gods speed.

It sounds like your grandmother is in very good hands now. The staff at the care home will ensure her comfort, until she leaves to be with her husband.

Coreena, I am very sorry to hear about your Grandma, I lost mine in April at the age of 98. Don't think it matters how old we are, Grandmas are very special ladies.
I will keep you in my thoughts.
