Foamies

Well i had heard of it, but today i experienced my first bout with the foamies. i had a couple of pieces of ham to snack on and i guess i either didn't chew well enough or ate too fast. Within minutes i felt like something was stuck in my chess. I kept feeling like i needed to burp....extremely uncomfortable. Finally i felt like i was going to through up, which i did, but it was all foam. I never actually threw up any food, just this foamie stuff. But i did feel better after that. lesson learned...chew, chew, chew.

Ahhhh the foamies..... Yes, I too have had the pleasure of the foamies. For me it happens when I eat one bite too many. It is a totally yucky fealing. I have to just keep spitting this foam in a kleenex. It usually lasts a few min. TOTALLY GROSS. It is such a reminder of how much we can eat.

That feeling when something gets stuck is so awful!
I am always nervous about it happening when I am eating in front of anybody.
You are right though, it keeps us mindful of how much we can consume.
I find it helps if I swallow only small bit at a time.
It is so weird at 40+ to have to learn how to eat all over again!
