Florida or Bust!!!!

Sorry I didn't post earlier but have been frantically running around trying to get packed for our getaway! Frickin Florida bound........
Well I had my CT scan on Thursday, it went well....and yes I made it back to see my baby shine at his kindergarden concert.....with not a minute to spare!!! That afternoon Dr. Vergis called and said that everything looked good with my sleeve. I had thought they were checking for gallstones but apparently a CT scan isn't the best way to do that....an ultrasound is. They were checking for an abcess or anything wrong with my sleeve. Mr. Sleevy is fabulous....doing what he was made to do! So he said he sees no reason I can't go to Florida...that's all I needed to hear!!! Dr. Vergis also said that they would still like to do an ultrasound if I'm still having pains, but when we get back. He said if anything happens down there they can operate as easy as they can, and as long as your not diagnosed with anything prior your OK with insurance. He did also mention that up to 80% of the people can have pain for no reason and they never really know why and then it just goes away. So we will see what happens.
So after much craziness and no booze
...I think the Avalanche is packed to the max!!!!
We are leaving tomorrow morning, hopefully by 7 and we are going to try and drive 10 hours a day....it's about a 3-4 day drive. God help me!!!!!! I have 4000 movies (OK slight exaggeration!), a new Nintendo DS XL (i friggin broke his old one!) and many activity books....oh ya and some gravol (LOL)!!! I hope all of this will be enough to keep Hudson entertained!
We have someone scheduled to hook up our cable, TV and internet on Thursday if we make it. So as soon as that is done I will check in.

awesome news girl, i am so glad everything is looking up for you and all is well. and you even got to see that little guy shine. AWESOME. good things come to good people my girl !!! AHHHHHH! I am sooo glad for you! I woke up in the middle of last night thinking "OMG, I haven't called Dean to see if she was going to Florida yesterday or not!!" I guess I should have come on here sooner I would have slept better..LMAO! Have a great trip, drive safe..enjoy your time and don't rush! 10hrs a day is a good amount.
So glad your sleeve is good and I hope that your pain just goes away like Dr.Vergis said. Might just be your body getting used to where stuff is now.
