NUT goal weight
I set my own goal weight. Although, I didn't have anyone tell me what my goal weight should be. Even my family doctor didn't want to set a goal weight for me. Her biggest concern was that I stay healthy throughout this process and maintain good health.
I chose 165 because I thought that would be attainable. I had no way of knowing what my body would look like at that weight or how I would feel, but I'm glad that I chose it.
I struggled to get to goal, but I did hit it and am now under my original goal.
Now, I'd like to see if I can get to 150 and find out what it's like to have a 'normal' BMI.
What are the parameters that Laura uses to determine ones goal weight? I'm curious as to how they figure that out.

NOw don't quote me but I think that she said that sugery will help us get rid of 70% of our extra body weight. She said that they are looking to get us into the overweight category and be able to maintain it and just be healthy and to get us out of the obese category of the BMI. I want to lose more than the goal that she set for me. I am not going for major surgery to still be overweight. With the goal weight that Lauri set for me I will still have a BMI of 31. Isn't that considered obese? I was kind of disappointed with the goal weight set out for me.
Any thoughts?
