best group of people EVER

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you all for being so open and wonderful to talk to.
I have struggled with my weight all of my life and have never had anyone to talk to about it. You guys have made that possible for me and I THANK YOU!!! Let's do this monthly!!!

It sounds like i missed a great meeting and greet! I thought i was going to be able to make it,and then last minute i had to take one of my kids somewhere and just couldn't make it.
I hope i can make it to next months meeting.

It was wonderful to see everyone and know that you are real people and not just posts on a webpage.

Thanks everyone for all the support and tips.

It really helps to know that  you are not alone in this. My family is very supportive for which I am very grateful. However,  it isn't the same as talking to people who have made the same choice and are on the same journey.

I ehco the above posts!!  It is so nice to get out of the house and away from the hub bub.  It is amazing that we can sit there for so long and the conversations keep going.  I love this group of ladies and the support and wealth of information we share.

For me, it was such a refreshing change to be with people so open and honest, about something so personal.
I too have always had weight issues, and grew up with.."you should loose weight..or the outcast because of my weight..(esp in childhood).  And to be able to sit so openly with you lovely ladies, who "get it"...was just so comforting.

 So sorry I missed it, but I was happily sleeping cuddled up with my baby girl who had her cold hands tucked onto my sore tummy,built in ice pack..LOL

I agree that it is awesome to have some people to talk to about this "thing" we have all dealt with. I can't wait til next month...I will do my very best to NOT miss that one!

I hope I will be able to attend the next meet and greet.  I would love to meet you all!

 Hey Ladies!

I always keep forgetting about the MB forum and just keep focusing on the main VSG forum. I wish I could have made it to the meet today!! It sucks I am in Calgary right now... boo!
I am planning on coming to town Dec 28th - Jan 3rd, if anyone has time I'd love to get together!
