HELP

My surgery is set for Monday December 6.  I went to the clinic for the blood work yesterday and my surgeon left a message on my home phone to call him to discuss my results.  What?!!  I don't usually jump to conclusions - but I am sooo close - and the thought of having this surgery cancelled - I don't know if I can handle it.

What would the reason be for a surgeon to call to discuss blood work results??

Don't panic, it is often something small and might just be you need a supplement or vitamin to strengthenyou!  Hope it all works out and let us know!

I can totally understand your apprehension. I would feel the same way. Its horrible when the happiness of the rest of your life depends entirely on this one person. Anyway, i am sure it is not anything major, and i am sure everything will work out in your favor.  Keep us posted.

I truly hope that your surgeon's concern is something that can be easily fixed. Maybe your iron is low. I am due to go in on Monday as well, and I can't imagine having it cancelled at this point.
I almost started to panic on Monday because I hadn't yet heard from the Victoria Hospital about my pre-admitting appointment. However, I called the clinic and they were able to get that sorted out for me.

I heard from the Dr. office - and it was nothing.  Apparently he just wanted to let me know that the results were good and the surgery is going ahead on Monday!!!

Thank you to all who got back to me.  I was freaking out just a little LOL.

Oh thank goodness, what a relief. Thanks for telling us, I won't stress if I get that call, ok maybe a little.
