Need a doctor in Wpg

Good evening everyone,

I am looking for a doctor in Wpg, my doctor gave up his practice and did not refer us to a new doctor it is is up to me to find my own.  I am wondering if any of you have a doctor you would recommend (hopefully taking on new patients).  Being over weight I am apprehensive to just go looking for a new doctor cold turkey.  Any info that you can pass on to me would be wonderful.  Thank you Lorna

Sorry I don't have a doctor in Winnipeg because I am from out of town. I can only imagine how hard it is too find someone. Isn't there a number or website with Manitoba Health where they give you a list of doctors excepting new patients?

 My Dr is fantastic, but, I fear soon he will be retiring himself. I am braceing myself for that


day. And I know he is not taking new patients.

You could try health links also, I know there is a number to call that have names of Dr's that are taking new patients.. 

To me, finding the Dr to fit you, and your needs..is pretty much a personal task. For one person, who feels a Dr is great, the other might not think so highly of that Dr.

 Hey,

I work for Four RIvers Medical Clinic on Broadway and I believe that we have 2 doctors still accepting new patients. 1st is Dr Sidra-Gerges and he is a nice soft spoken very well mannered doctor, easy to work with and the staff really like him.

There is also Dr Iqbal, I believe she is still accepting and is very good as well.

call 786-8588 to book an appt

if not call the Doctor Hotline at 786-7111 and they will let you know who in your area is accepting new patients!
