Well Ladies here I go!! Monday I have an appointment at the Victoria hospital...The next day Tuesday November 16 I go in for surgery At  7:45 (although I have to be in for 6:45) I will be arriving in the city Monday morning and driving straight to the Vic.  I will have time for Shopping please remind me of what I will need for the first week.  So tonight I will hold and kiss my children, tell then how much they are loved and I will tell them that I will be home in a week( give or take a day or two).
Please pray for me!!!! I would also like to thank everyone for their support during this process god bless!!
I'll try to post tomorrow to let everyone know about the pre-op visit

I am thrilled for you. I know this is kind of scary but you will be just fine.
As far as post op diet. I was done in  Mexico so what I did might of been a little off the grid. But I do remember having lots of warm broth. It really helped me and if you like tea, try some herbal tea.
Good luck and we are all here for you!!

I second the group hug!!

I totally understand how you feel about leaving your kids! It's an odd feeling. I am sure I will be quite upset when my surgery day comes. I know I am doing this for them..so they will have a happier healthier mom who will be around and participating in their lives for a lot longer. It's still a tough one. :)

You made it through the liquid diet..ugh..LOL I get to start tomorrow..yay..NOT! I will be praying for you until we hear back from you. So have an easy uneventful surgery and a quick recovery!! Can't wait to hear back from you!!!

Hi Bren,

I wish you well on Tues - I am sure it is scary...but  only for a short time. Especially since you are first on the slate you will be waking up from surgery in no time. Keep thinking of your kids and why you are doing this. Judging by all the positive feedback from people that had this surgery it will be well worth it.
I recall fortunada saying to bring the protein from cost****hocolate premiere protein- 18 per pack) as well as organic chicken broth. To put in the patients fridge. I think i have read that quite a few posts that said the warm broth felt good post surgery.

I have not had the surgery yet. am on waiting list.

You are in my prayers.
