My turn!!

After I met with Dr. Vergis he told me once I meet with the NUT(dietician) that I should expect surgery in 6-8 weeks. So this is WAY sooner than I expected!! My referral we sent in March/April of this year. They really slowed down with elective surgeries in the summer though, so don't panic!  Doctors need holidays too..LOL They are picking up now and will continue to do so, I am guessing til next summer. I called Julie a couple of times and each time she just told me which patients( from which month) that they were now seeing. It gave me an idea. I knew I would be late in the year to early next year. I just hoped and prayed it wouldn't be too close to the holidays.

We're all in the same boat..but aren't we SO DAMN lucky that we have this available to us here now? No more waiting to be put on another provinces waiting list with flights back and forth for appointments..expensive!!

Thx for the info kokonut. Its the not knowing thats the worst, as you know im sure. It wouldnt matter if the date was a year away, if you knew a DATE. Well Julie said i should get a call around March, which means I should get surgery May-ish. we will see. anyway, keep us all posted on your journey. We all tend to follow eachother very closely
