My turn!!

Well the time has come for my turn. My surgery is tomorrow at the Vic hospital @7:45. We have to be there for 6:45 so we're staying in the city because we have an 1 1/2 hour drive and I am not taking a chance on missing this appointment!!! But a part of me, a small part of me, is scared ****less, to the point of maybe I'm making a mistake and I should cancel. But like I said....a small part of me, and so the bigger part wins and is very excited to take the next...a step closer to real food again and a healthy lifestyle.

So when saying your prayers please include me for a quick recovery and successful surgery!! I will keep you posted.

Oh by the way....19lbs gone forever on my pre-op!!!!

Hi Dean,

I will be thinking of you on Tuesday. Good luck, after seeing how well fortunada and the other woman did when they had theirs done on the 19th of this month- you will be fine. i am sure it is nerve wracking though!
I can't wait until i get an apt in the spring- hopefully i will get the surgery. I wish i was going on Tues!
I think i recall that you are having meds pre-op- good idea, helps the nerves!
Good luck, will think of you Tues.

I know you had your surgery today!!! I was thinking (and praying) about you all night last night and all day. In fact I mentioned you to my doctor while i was getting my pre-op check done today! LOL!

I got amazing news today..remember how you told me to call Julie?..well I had a letter in my mail box..since last week, telling me that my surgery is NOVEMEBR 29th!! Didn't even have to call and will just have enough time to get my pre-op dieting done..LMAO! Seriously I am beside myself with excitement! The surgeries really are picking up now! SO EXCITING!

I told my doc today that having these surgeries(VSG&RNY) available now will be very good for Manitobans!! She agreed :)

So girl, heal up quick and come back and tell us all how it went! *hugs*

Hey kokonut, is your surgery date sooner than you had expected? November 29, wow.......that's soon, you will be well on your way in no time. And just enough time to recover and enjoy christmas. Do you recall when your referral was sent into the clinic? I like to try and keep track so i have an idea of when i will get a call. My referral was sent in on sept 15. anyway, any info is appreciated.
thanks
