Normal???

OK I am on Day 4 of my pre-op diet and my back is killing me, in the middle area!!! Is this normal???

Hi Dean, I did have and still do have an achy back but I didn't connect the two until I read your post. I also feel achy everywhere. Not sure what's up with that.

Was yours in the middle area of your back? I phoned Julie and she said Dr. Andrew and Dr. Vergis were both there and she would pull my file and get back to me.

The reason I have a concern is I am on a BP medicine and a water pill and am wondering if my kidneys are working too hard. I also wonder if I didn't drink enough water yesterday so I have kicked it up!  I am sure, well hoping, that it will be Ok...just worried they might cancel surgery for any reason! Do you still have a achy back, they say to google Atkins flu, it is because we are not taking in any carbs. I tried it and they said you would be achy.

I will let you know what they say when I hear back.

Oh by the way I spoke with Michelle today and she is very nauseous and having trouble getting her water in, but the pain is very little and I don't think she has even taken any pain meds today as of this morning. I sure hope the nausea wears off for her!
