Meet & Greet in Rural MB??

 I would love to start a local support group in the Winkler/Morden Southern Manitoba Rural Region.  I know meet and greets are hard to come by in our province and Winnipeg is quite a trek when you work full time and then have a 90 minute travel time.
I was thinking sometime in September?  
So far I've been fairly successful after WLS but I find that I would love to meet with others who might be struggling, needing support or just starting out on their journey.
I have been very open with my WLS and am more than willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who is in need.  
I think it would be great to hear everyone else's stories and make sure we are each others greatest fans!  
We need all the support we can get, lol!!

You look fantastic, how long did it take you to get in to Dr. Nohr and how did you go about getting your surgery done?  Was it paid for by Manitoba Health?

I am asking because I have been turned down by Dr Andrews who has started doing the Gastric Sleeve here in Wpg, but you have to be under 47 BMI and I am sitting 49 right now and you have to be under 55 years of age and I will be 55 shortly.  His clinic told me to search out other Drs in other provinces.

Any info you can give me will be really appreciated.

I would love to meet and chat with you. I'm just starting out on my journey and would love support, information and being able to chat with someone who's been through what I'm about to begin. I know "country girl" would probable be interested also. I live 35 min. east of Wpg but would be willing to meet somewhere. Maybe we could meet in Morris which would be a little closer for me??
