what to say at canada customs

Hi all!

I'll be going done to Mexico soon to have my sleeve done. For anyone else who has gone to Mexico...what did you say the purpose of your trip was when you went through Canadian/US customs (both going and returning)? Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks

Hi! I just got back from Mexico a week ago and since I was staying 2 extra days in San Diego I said a vacation. On the way back I mentioned I had went to Mexico to have surgery. It was no big deal.  Did you know you have to take your shoes off at the checkpoint into the USA? LOL That was a new one for me!

Hi! I'm back from Mexico and sleeved. I ended up saying that I was going for a medical procedure. Customs didn't ask any more than that. On the way back they didn't even ask.  Thanks for your reply petite_jolie!
