New Coordinator helping Manitobans interested in WLS in Mexico!

 Hi everyone. I just had my sleeve done in Mexico on the 23rd of Feb, and would love to share my experience with you if you want to know. It's been one week and I have lost 13 lbs already! I had such a great experience in Mexico that I want to help others as well so I am getting my stuff together to become a coordinator here in Manitoba. Msg me if you like. Blessings

 I spent two years researching my options. I was going to go for the lapband here in Winnipeg, but 18,000 is way out of my price range. So I thought maybe if I get it done in mexico, they will at least do my fills...no dice! Every doc I called that does fills refuses to do them even if they are the same lap band devices they use here. Utterly ridiculous if you ask me! So screw them and I got the sleeve done in mexico and couldn't be  happier. Paid a third of the cost and never have to worry about maintenance or the thought of having a revision if I did get the band. So I am going to be working as a coordinator for the clinic and helping others do the same.

Congratulations on your success!  Glad to hear you had a wonderful experience in Mexico. 

I am currently researching my options for weight loss surgery and am presently leaning towards the banding option.  Are you assisting with coordinating lap bands in Mexico, or just the sleeve procedure?  If so, I'm wondering what your experience, if any, has been with organizing after care (ie:  fills) once back home in Canada.  I'm from Calgary and have heard that it can be a bit of an ordeal to find a surgeon to do fills.

My husband and I are travelling to Las Vegas in May and so I'm checking out the Las Vegas Surgical Weight Loss Centre while down there.  I'd be open to Mexico as well. 

Any info you can pass on would be appreciated!
