Laproscopic RNY

Hi there has anyone had laproscopic RNY done?  Has anyone had it done by Dr Nohr?  I am not having mine done until april 2011, but still trying to get in earlier.  I was told that people don't usually cancell for laproscopic surgery.

I had my rny laproscopically, i think most do if they can.  I didnt go with Dr. Nohr, his waiting list was so long.  I would keep in touch with them on a regular basis, just so they keep you in mind when a cancellation comes up.  Good luck, im saving a seat for you on the losers bench!!

I had laprascopic RNY with Dr Ferries in Red Deer, AB.  Originally my surgery was scheduled for Oct 2009, then there was a cancellation so I was pushed up to May 28/09, there was another cancellation and they pushed me up to May 15/09.  The very next day, the nurse called and said there was an opening for April 15/09.  I had my surgery on April 15/09.  6 months after my first visit with the DR.

I am so glad I made the decision to go to Dr F.  He is a stickler for rules.  You have to go and see him once  month, if you miss an appointment without his approval, you could be scrapped from the program so the travelling gets expensive, but if you watch for seat sales, it's not to bad.
