Hi,
I'd have your Dr send a referral in anyway...could be accepted! When did start insulin? What type/brand & how much? 

I started insulin about a year ago. Before I started it I was doing really good. I had lost 30 pounds and was trying to lose more. Insulin makes me ravenous. I can eat twice as much food when I take it. I take 100 units of Humulog 25/75 mix twice a day. I plan on sending in my referral anyways. You never know!

I just joined up today and I was wondering if anyone has anymore news on the VGS being done in Winnipeg by Dr. Andrew yet? I have been searching and researching all over the place and would much rather be "home" to have surgery, than to haul my cookies to Mexico( although I am sure my husband would love to bask by a pool while I was in hospital)
