I'm taking the plunge!!!

OK, I've done it. Went and got a YMCA membership to do Aquafit. Yes, yes I know it's good for me and pretty much the only excerise I can do right now but did it have to be in a bathing suit? I'm being brave and going for it. After all my health is most important. I encourage all of you out there to join me in the plunge! Take an aquafit class, get fit and fabulous! If I can do it, so can you!

 I absolutely love AquaFit!!  I did it every summer for 3 years, 3 times a week for an hour each time...until I cracked a bone in my foot.  I can't wait to be 'lighter' on my feet and join again.  Unfortunately, there is no indoor pool here, and the summer season is so short!

Enjoy them and you will be surprised how easy it is to work up a sweat in the pool!!

It's the best way to cool off on warm days. I know.. i know there hasn't been too many but still its exercise. The bathing suit part still gets to me though!!!!

So far I have done 2 aquafit classes. WOW!!! I knew I was out of shape but not THAT out of shape. Phew!!! Could barely walk after my first class but I'm keeping at it! Just think how much more fit I will be in a month...

Good for you!  Wish I were still living in Wpg as I would love to go with others ... when I do go it is on my own and while everyone is always nice, it would be great to have "friends' who are on the WLS journey.
