A big wow for me!

Just wanted to share a big wow for me!

Rode my bike for the 1st time in years (maybe 10 or 15)... check out my profile pic.  Could not possibly ride a bike a year ago at 286 lbs!!!

Hi Diane, no I did not set up the meeting at Perkins because I am from The Pas. Way up North to most people, but churchill is way up north to me LOL.  I am goind to Winnnipeg Aug. 24,25 &26., so maybe if anyone is intrested we could try for a meeting than. My sister lives in the River Ben area. I am close to Leia and Mcphilips and main thats as much as I can tell you.

My daughter laughed at my old bike, I said there was nothing wrong with it... hasn't been used in a while.  It takes a while for your head to catch up with the weight loss, that is why I have been taking so many pictures and keep referring back to them.  Hope that you all can get that meeting set up as it sounds like many folks here in Wpg need information and support.

Yes, it did feel great riding the bike, but it also helped that the weather here yesterday in Winnipeg was beautiful.  Thanks for your thoughts on this.  When is your consult with Dr. Star?  You live in Wpg right?

Haven't heard anything back from Dr. Starr's office yet.  I am trying to be patient ....  my consult was sent in November 2008 so I know that I have quite a bit more waiting to go.
