O/T Anyone from around R/M of Franklin?

Hi:

My grandmother was born and raised in the  Emerson area (whichIi believe is part of the R.M. of Franklin).  I was wondering if anyone knows of an Internet site that shows what that area looks like?  I have been to Winnipeg, but never south of the city (I have driven the entire Trans-CCanada highway).

I have pictures of the house where my father was born in Winnipeg, but I know nothing of the area where his mother was born.  Any help would be appreciated.
