Hi
Glad to hear from you, and I am happy to hear everything went ok, what did you think of the clinic?
I am doing good, I had my surgery on the April 28th, I was to suppose to have it on the 21st, but the doctor had an emergency, I was very dissappointed that meant another week of the medi-trim and 2 cups of vegs, and broth that was hard since I found out the day before surgery that I had to wait another week, but I did it.
It has been 5 days since surgery and I feel good, The night I came home I was not sure if I did the right thing, and the same feeling into day 1, then on day 2 I started to feel better. The problem I had was feeling so dizzy it did not matter if I laid down or stood up, and I felt like I wanted to vomit, my throat was so sore for 2 days and my nose was so dry. But that has all passed and on day 2 I got out of bed for awhile and on day 3 I actually got dressed, and started to go for walks. I have been doing things just no lifting heavy things, I am going back to work tomorrow. I am eating broth, scrammbled eggs, and protien shakes, lots of water and juices. I am hungry but I watch what I eat. I will have oatmeal tomorrow.
Let me know how you are doing and feeling and what you are eating.
Take Care

HI Marg,
Glad to hear you are doing well! Sucks that you had to wait a week. Man that would have ticked me off. I'm impressed you stuck to that pre opp diet for another week.
I'm doing good. It's been almost 3 weeks now. I was very happy to get the staples out, although not impressed with the scars. I'm kinda ticked about the port one, it seems like pretty sloppy work for a plastic surgeon. I'm getting a gel called DermatrixC this week that is supposed to be very good for scars..so we'll see.
I'm eating pretty much whatever I want now. I have no restriction at all since the swelling went down. I went back to work after a week, but it's just been these last few days where I have felt no pain, just the pressure of the port inside. What a weird feeling.
Keep us posted on how you are doing!
