Dr Starr

Can any one give me a phone number for Dr Starr and a little bit about him. Does he do the open RNY or lapascopicly. Anything would help. I am looking for a DR that I am now waiting for ever to see and get this surgery done. I have been on a list for AB for a yr and don't know when they will be going to even see me let alone do the surgery.

Hi Lori, I have an appt. to see Dr. Starr for my 1st appt. Jan.04/08. I sent in my referral Nov. 14th 07. I was told that if I pay for my 2nd appt. for the s.w./dietician/internist (approx. $500.00) and have MB Health reimburse me I'm looking at approx 18mths. til surgery date if all goes well. MB Health has approved my flight costs for the initial flight so far. Talk to Traci , she is really nice, the number is 416-749-2332. I suggest calling in the pm anyday but tues./weds. Traci is done work at 2:30 our time. If you can get a hold of your Dr. right away have him fax your referral asap to 416-782-5899. I waited to see Dr Nohr for 1.5 yrs for a consult in Alberta. It was suppost to be 3 yrs but I got in to see him on a cancellation. and now have to wait 11 months for the surgery. I call his office every second wednesday and asked if they had a cancellation and thats how I got in early.
