Dr. Christou - costs?

Hi ren, I have been waiting nearly 3 years for my consult (it is in jan 08). When i called to confirm, i asked to be put on a cancellation list and i was told very snottily that people DON"T cancel these appointments and NOT to call and pester. I will be calling Monday morning to see about cancellations. Congrats on getting the surgery! how are you feeling? have your results been good? Best wishes to all!

My consult date originally was a waiting time of 3 years as well, but I was specifically told by Dr. Nohr's office to call every month to see about cancellations. Weird! If I hadn't called I'd still be waiting until 2009 for my consult! Things are going well for me, but like many others I'm sure, I haven't lost nearly as much as I thought I would. I've lost 44 pounds in 3 months, which is nothing to complain about, but I was hoping to lose 50 in the first two months, but I just can't seem to get there - I keep going up & down! I had to go back two weeks ago for a g-scope & dilation, but it was a piece of cake. Good luck with getting in sooner - once you actually have the consultation your surgery will be scheduled for a year from then. Once again, call every month for cancellations - I got in 5 months earlier doing that!
