thinking of getting bariatric surgery

hi all i am just exploring the idea of surgery it was recommened by a sleep specialist. i have been searching the net for info but it is always better to get info from ppl that have had it done, so if anyone can share the good and bad with me i would really appreciate it also anyone with info that i may need to know like cost ,coverage,a Doctor, a surgeon, i will fly where ever in canada that i need to go, so anyone please help thank you

Hi Michelle, My name is Kim Adams. I live in Ontario, but I'm originally from Brandon. I had surgery 19 months ago in the US (detroit). Before I moved to Ontario (2.5 yrs ago), I went to my PCP in Brandon and asked for a referal to Dr. Nohr in Medicine Hat. He came highly recommended(rny) and I even had a friend have her surgery done by him.
