Where did the time go? That is great news 110 lbs that you have lost. I agree, it is extremely slow and I know I could be losing more and getting closer to my goal if I could just stay away from some foods. At first I would dump and now lately I think that my body has become immune or I am just ignoring it. I need to get motivated before my 1 yr mark in Sept.

Moved to the Western Mass area (Holyoke) about 3 months ago. Had bypass in September '10 and am looking to meet some people in my area that have had bypass, can give pointers and may want to exercise together.
I have lost just about 100lbs, but have stalled, and have actually gained about 10lbs since moving up here due to stress, etc...Need to join a gym in my area, need to eat better, etc....

I started this group here in Peabody back in Oct 2010. I didn't get many members, so I changed it to a regular WL support group meeting. Out of 4 members, I am the only one that has had WLS. You are more than welcome to join us.

i just got my lap band referral i am so happy now im pre op i am waiting for a consaltation with st elizabiths hospital in boston ma has anyone gone to NSMC northshore medical center ??

I am new to Mass. just moved here about 2 months ago. I had gastric bypass on 2/23/10. I was wondering if this group is still active? I could really use some support and to hear from other WLS people.
