 THANKS for your pms!

Here is another, I hope you enjoy it!

It takes twenty years to become an overnight success.

- Eddie Cantor
Setting A Plan in Motion

Short of winning the lottery, the idea of coming into wealth or power overnight is nearly impossible. Not that it is impossible to be successful, but it involves a lot of hard work, time, overcoming of obstacles, and dedication to achieve. You can't expect success to just fall into your lap. Often, you have to pour time and tears into reaching it. Set your goals, formulate a plan for getting from point A to point B (and C, D, E and F), and go for it! Let your perseverance and drive be the foundation for achievement.

HEy All...
My name is Julie and I had my surgery about  a year and 3 months ago...I have to admit I have fell off the edge of the message board...sorry.  I am from South Boston...and now reside in Pembroke with my wife (also a gastris bypass person) and our 5 year old daughter.
Loving life after RNY...down 100lbs, I am the athklete I always knew I could be...I have done duathlons, road races playing volleyball regularly...I couldn't even run 3 minutes prior...so it is amazing.  Food can be a struggle at times...as any addiction...but most days I win!!!

Hope all is well....anyone with questions feel free to ask!!!

Yes My wife and I both had our surgery there...
I might be biased because I work there as well...but Dr. Hess is phenominal...his team is great especially wendy the nutritionist and Kelly the social worker.  I have had great success..I have lost 100lbs and am very physically fit...Feeling great.
just make sure you take advantage of the services offered espicially the therapy as this is in incredible journey that requires lots of life style changes as it is not a cutre for being over weight.  It is a tool...and that is what the push.
Anyhow if you have any specific questions feel free to post or message me.
Good luck
