I had my surgery with Dr. Jiser when he was at Emerson Hospital. He was great, I highly reccomend him. Best of luck, it will be the best decision you ever make!!

hello,, sorry it takes me so long to get back to you! well the process is kinda long ,, but if you can make it to all of the appt that they give you with out rescheduling then it goes reall quick... i didnt reschedule any of them and it took me about i wna to say 4 months until the actual surgry ,. depending on how long it takes you to lose the % of wieght first like i had to lose,,, 15 pounds first... and then they would do the surgery... but while you are trying to lose the weight they schedule all of your appts so that when you are done with losing the % of wieght you will be all ready to book your appt for surgery! .. i also have a facebook that you can add me on ... i have alot more before pics and after! my name on there is alante tipa.... bye and have a great night

Topic: RNY to DS Revision.... MA Surgeons???
If anyone has had any experience with MA docs that handle the RNY to DS revision I would love to hear your thoughts, thanks. Lisa

Hi.. I have no idea if I'm posting this post in the right spot..I have my first apt. At warehams associates with my surgeon tomorrow. DR. KRUGER. I AM SO AFRAID OF SAYING THE WRONG THINGS. I AM ON 47 MILLIGRAMS OF METHADONE. I HAVE BEEN COMING OF THE LAST 6 MONTHS. DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY SAID THAT MY PHONE WAS A PROBLEM. AND NOT HAND LIKE TO SEE ME AT 10 MILLIGRAMS BEFORE THE SURGERY. I AM ACTUALLY WILLING TO DO THIS. I HATE METHADONE I WANT TO BE OFF I HAVE NOT USED DRUGS IN OVER 3 YEARS. He mention the 10 milligrams at the seminar. I am terrified that I will be treated differently Because I'm a recovering addict. That has happened to me quite a few times. My life has changed I'm a productive member of society. Has anyone I have this surgery on methadone. I have mass health as well . I heard that there is a 6 month program required when you have masshealth. Anyone can help me with how to go when I present my case you with the doctor about being treated differently. And if anybody knows any information on mass health.. thank you so much. Went back to Beth Israel to meet with the Director, Dr H and Michelle the nutritionist. What a huge difference from Newton Wellesley!! Michelle took he time to guide me through products and the process. Newton Wellesley need to send their weight loss department to Beth Israel to learn how to do it right. What impresses me most is I have been treated with dignity and respect, there is not the judgement that was at every appointment with Sheila Partridge. I hope others will read this and it helps with their decision where to go. I wish I had read the poor reviews of Sheila Partridge and how she treats her patients, I wasted so much time having to find a new facility and start all over again, but so glad I did.

Hi, I am new to this board within the last few weeks. I live in Southern NH and am planning on having my gastric bypass at the Lowell General. I have my first 2 appts on May 2nd. Has anyone had their surgery there? They have 4 surgeons and want you to select one. Everything I've read about the surgeons is positive. But, I would really love some feedback. Anxious to hear from someone. Thanks, Maureen
