Topic: Surgery Tomorrow!
My surgery creeped up on me very fast....it's tomorrow! I'll know later today what time I'm scheduled for, but I'm getting extremely nervous now! I'm doing my preop liquid diet today and it's actually not as hard as I thought it would be....yet. It's still early (only 9am)...lol.

As nervous as I am getting, I'm still excited to go thru with it. I'm ready to be on the loser's bench and start my new healthy life :)  I'll send an update as soon as I can.

Topic: RE: Chewable Supplements??
I got the supplement sample pack too at Immersion Day. Kerri also gave me asmall pack.

I went online and found Celebrate vitamins. Only chose them because they did not say Bariatric in the name. I have been taking the berry calcium. It works for me. A little chalky but I think they will all have that affect.

When I placed my first order, I got a 3 months supply of: multivitamins, Iron +C, B-12, Calcium, and omega 3. THe total came to about $150. So, seeing I will be saving at least $50 a month in groceries, it seems like a no brainer.

I had no luck finding the calcium citrate chewables in stores.

Faunce Nutrition also does mail order. They offer all the brands.

You can even try Amazon.com.

Good luck - maybe I'll see you at HOWL (not in October, I will be newly home from surgery :)).

I got the same flyer in the mail. I will try my best to attend October's meeting. I'll be one week postop  And yes, the time is a bit difficult. Wish they had them later in the day.
