woohooo.... congrats on your date with Dr. P!! You have to be sure this is a decision you want to make for yourself, no one else.... everyone has an opinion but that doesnt mean that its your opinion or that what they think should matter to you, or that the information they have based that opinion on is accurate and up to date... having said that you need to follow your heart, if your family doesnt support you, screw them, an asshole is an asshole as my husband says.... there are plenty of other avenues to get the support you need....
you gotta do it for you!!!

Topic: immersion day @ Tufts
I'm scheduled for next Tuesday! I'm excited and nervous, I feel like this will be the no turning back point, not that I want to, but I think this will make it seem so real.
Any advice for the day or things to expect? How long after your immersion day did you schedule your surgery? I think I have to have an appt. with the surgeon first and I have my second appt. w/ the nut scheduled for mid Nov. so I assume nothing will happen until after that.

Hi.
My name is Donna Kelley and I started training yesterday to start a weekly support group north of Boston. I live in Peabody. I haven't found a place to hold it as of yet. I don't think there are too many in MA.
I just thought i would let you know.

Topic: Recipe Swap !!!
Hello ladies !! (and the few brave men who may be lurking!)
I am in dire need of some new, good recipes! Don't get me wrong, I love my chili and chicken and turkey ... BUT I want some new and good food to check out !!
Send me your recipes!
I'll start by posting one of my favorites!
Sour Cream Chicken
4-6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 carton fat free sour cream
1 can reduced fat/sodium cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
place chicken in crockpot and cover with sour cream, soup and onion mix.
simmer on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
yummy !
*I like to use less than 1 whole can of the mushroom soup; not a huuuuge fan of it
