Topic: He likes my legs :)
So the guy I've been dating told me last night that one of his favorite physical features about me was my legs.  At first I was a little weirded out because there's totally some extra skin there and I'm not really comfortable with that...but he told me that he liked them because they were so strong...and he's been checking them out everytime we go hiking...so rock on!!

It's always been "you've got such a pretty face" "your hair is great" "I love your smile"....kind of a nice change of pace!!   Turns out all that running is paying off!!

Just had to share...

The chicken was pretty good; I would make it again.  Didn't try the brownie yet, keep forgetting cream cheese when I go to the store!

a friend recently told me that if you dont like protein shakes then your doing something wrong.... in the sense that there are sooooo many things you can add to doctor your shakes and make them absolutely delicious.  There are tons and tons of recipes out there on the net and in books so just start looking.  Recently I tried a recipe a friend posted awhile back and made a pistacio shake that tasted like pistacio ice cream, which was one of my fav ben and jerrys flavors of ice cream.  Thats just an example. I have a cabinet full of different sugar free flavors of torani syrup that you can add to a basic vanilla or choc to change the flavor.  Try adding fruits or nuts or peanut butter.  Try different variations of milk. I switched to soy milk personally, it has more flavor and more protein. If its the protein powders your having issues with, try a different kind of protein... most protein powders out there are whey protein, try soy protein if your having trouble.... another friend swears by spirutein or something to that affect.  Im almost a year out and I still have a protein shake every morning for breakfast, its a really easy way to get in alot of protein.

As far as food recipes go... I would steer clear of chicken for now, its just a very difficult protein to tolerate, especially early out and sometimes for some of us for life.  Try going to bariatriceating.com or livingafterwls.com or theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/

There are lots of different things out there to try...  hope this helps...
