South Coast, Wareham

Has anyone had surgery at South Coast,  Tobey Hospital? I had seminar last night in the early stages of the process

I have not , but am interested also. I am looking for a revision from RNY done in 2003. Due to not losing entire goal weight. I gained back 30 pounds out of the 120 loss in 12 years primarily due to weight loss stopped before I reached my goal  and I have sciatic nerve and degenerative disc disease and that does not allow to exercise as much as I need to. Would be interested in finding anyone with similar situation. I am considering South Coast as it is closest to where I live and would be easier to get to. My original Surgeon was at Tufts In Boston. My first appointment is on the 15th with my PCP for the referral. Can anyone share how long the whole process takes before surgery? I spent a whole year first time around and hoping it wont take that long again. Thank you for any info.

My process was a little less than 4 months from the introductory meeting to Surgery date.  And that included a three month supervised diet required by my insurance.  But I was lucky in scheduling, getting cancellation dates a couple times.

thanks Carol.  I'm still in the process getting closer each day.  Just wi**** would happen..  seems like a long drawn out process that kind of plays mind games with you.  But i'm going to stick with it, I know its the right thing to do for me.
